Hi Nick ,

what’s your recommand anchor text ratio ? like keywords, url, longtail, related like “click here ” ,what ratio will be good ?

keep exact anchors below 10%.

This is what I stick to right now:

Brand: 30%
TITLE TAG: 15%
Full Open URL: 9%
Exact Match: 8%
website.com: 7%
Long Tail Random: 6%
Part Match: 6%
Generic: 6%
Long Tail Exact: 5%
LSI keyword Synonyms: 5%
No Text: 1%
Authors Name: 1%
http://www.website.com: 1%

Very informative article. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it πŸ™‚

Nick, I have been doing a lot of reading on Web 2.0 links over last several months and I just found your site. I must say you provide the most detail and step by step guidance. Thank You

No problem, glad to help. Let me know how it goes by dropping some results in the forum πŸ™‚

Nick, you send social signals to your money site or send it to web 2.0 ?

Money site πŸ™‚

Hello, nick. Thanks so much for your brilliant posts, I am studying all of them carefully πŸ™‚ I will follow without hesitation . My little confusion now is:

Will this methods have same effect for new registered domain and new website ? What do you suggest?

Your kind reply will be highly appreciated πŸ™‚

Hi Vincent, this strategy is okay to use on a new site. Make sure you wait until the social signals have been delivered before you start building the backlinks to a new site, looks a little more natural this way. Index the links nice and slow and you will be okay, 3 a week will be perfect for a new site. Also take note of my anchor text ratio post….start off with TITLE TAG anchors and URL anchors to get things started….don’t hit your site with an exact match anchor first…..leave it until the last link you create in your first month…this anchor text will be good for 10 backlinks in month 1:

1. TITLE TAG
2. FULL URL
3. Long Tail Random (1)
4. Part Match
5. Generic
6. Long Tail exact (1)
7. LSI Keyword Synonyms
8. Long Tail Random (2)
9. Long Tail Exact (2)
10. Exact Match

If you want to know what each anchor is take a look at this post: http://www.rankersparadise.com/perfect-anchor-text-ratio/

Hi Nike! How nice to hear from you again so soon. Seems I built them a little fast before, but it’s OK since I have your advice now and I will do it right in the future. I need to be more patient. Thanks so much!! Have a good day

Slow and steady is the right way to go….drop 10 backlinks in the first 30 days and forget about it. Do a rank check and then start on month 2…you need to play the long game…it works….do everything right the first time…don’t get three months down the line and think that you had wished you had not missed a particular step…it takes a while to rank…on the right keywords it is worth the wait πŸ™‚

Hi Nick, hope you are well. I wanted to know about targeting multiple keywords per page. Also, what if you have like twenty good keywords for a site? Would you have a new page for each of those keywords or would you group them and target multiple keywords per page. I think that there is a lot of confusion about proper on page seo and how many keywords to target per page. I wouldn’t know where to start with regards to doing on page seo for multiple keywords per page. Maybe I’m the only noob here but it could make an interesting post perhaps. Thank you for your good work.

Hi Nick,

I love your content. I wanna asking If I want rank my 3 keywords. I wanna trying your suggest PBN. I already send pm with your suggest PBN with 5 links, he said content using Wordai. Its good to doing PBN with wordai content? What better between wordai and content machine to result unique content on PBN and web 2? I am beginners to doing SEO. If I doing SEO optimizing 3 keywords, Can I using 3 keyword in 5 post ( 2 keywords would be used twice). I need your advise or suggestion.

Thank You

The content using Wordai on the PBN backlinks has worked for me so far, most of the backlinks index. A few will not, that is not down to the quality of the content but the bad domain. The content creator I use is called smart article generator, it is very good and by far the cheapest that you will find anywhere. I would not use three keywords in five posts, you need to target three posts at the three keywords, you do not want two pages on the same site competing for the same keyword.

Another great post nick! found your site when I was researching if web2s still work. Question: 2000 words is the minimum for the post you want to rank? Do you think this is the 1 main factor that your post lands on pages 3-5 at the start without any BL? would it have the same effect with a brand new site with 0 pa and da? Im trying to rank several pages with 1500 words on each post on abrand new site. but they dont land on the top 10 pages after they index and even after a week.

How about ranking on non enlish countries?

would be great if you discuss further in details Onpage seo and foreign lang ranking

thanks!

Thanks Ian. The top ranking sites have on average around 2000 words, if you can hit that then you have a better chance of ranking on the first page of Google. Having unique, new and well written content is certainly one reason why a post will land on page 3 to 5 without any backlinks at all….internal backlinks will also have a small influence too if your site is already established and has some link juice flowing round it. A new site with fresh content will most definitely fall lower down the SERPs, my epilator site posts did not hit the top 50 spots in the first few weeks, however when my site got more content on there and the internal links started to flow my site hit the top 5 pages for all of my 5 targeted keywords. A new site will not land within the top 50, don’t worry, keep on adding content to your site and link internally to your money pages and they will appear on the top 5 Google pages in the next few weeks or so…don’t quit on it….it will happen πŸ™‚ Not sure about ranking on any other Google platform other than UK and USA….it’s all I have ever done.

When I read your posts, I always think “too good to be true”. But I continue on reading.

I think you are the only one, who makes this statement from “too good to be true” change to “too good to be false” every single time I read.

Wonderful info! I like how you approach to things like writing/spinning mass articles and being productive in general.

Thank you very much for your insights.

Never knock it until you have tried it. Give it a go and come back here to log your results. This always works on the right keywords, this is why I always say keyword research is the most important step to success. Two of my keywords are long tail…this is how my keywords stack up;

keyword 1: 6 words
keyword 2: 6 words
keyword 3: 2 words
keyword 4: 3 words
keyword 5: 3 words

Long tail keywords are very easy to rank no. 1 for. Not one site in the SERPs was optimised for these long tail keywords, it made it super easy for me to rank. They are incredibly low competition keywords. These type of keywords are out there, find yourself some and get ranking.

Come back and let us know how you get on πŸ™‚

Thanks for the reply. I have a question, though.

Do you ever update your Tumblrs and other web 2.0 blogs? Or you just put a post with a link and forget about them? Because to update all of them would probably take too much time, correct?

I do add to my Tumblr and Weebly blogs when I use them for backlinks to my other affiliate sites. You can use them once and leave them, that will be okay if it is a lot of work for you.

I thought that one Tumblr account should link just to one money site. Do you link to more than one affiliate sites? Is it safe to do that?

As for adding content, if I have 30-50 tumblrs, it may be time-consuming to add new posts/articles every month or every week (to keep the accounts active), that is why I asked about it.

I do link my expired Tumblrs to more than one money site, it is safe yes. I have not had any problems at all doing this. You won’t be able to add content to all those blogs on a regular basis unless you use some kind of automated software like Rankwyz. Rankwyz and Kontent Machine combined will automate your web 2.0 backlinks and save you loads of time.

Wow Nick. Thanks so much for sharing. I have been working as an Amazon associate for the last 18 months and am doing okay $1000+ pm, but with your brilliant advice and strategies I fully expect that to be at least doubled within the next 12 months. I have just bought rankerx and will be using some of your strategies combined with this software. I have just built a small PBN with expired tumblrs (all 30+ PA) and am kinda worried about link diversity. Are there any free resources you would recommend in order to hide my PBN?

Cheers

Phil

$1000+ is great in just 18 months, you are doing really well. I am sure you will triple that in the next year or so. You can use Cloud Flare to hide a PBN, will change nameservers and IP. rankerx looks good for building out web 2.0 sites, have not used it….let us know how you get on with it please πŸ™‚

RankerX is a decent link building software. I’ve used it before. I think it’s best for web 2.0 profile links, article directory links, and bookmarks, though. You can use it for web 2.0s, too.

I wasn’t a huge fan of it, though. It’s a little confusing and could definitely be setup better. And it’s a little pricey, especially once you factor in having to pay for private proxies and captcha solving services on top of the monthly fee for the software.

Software is good for automating some stuff, but I hate piling on monthly payments that are easily avoided by simply doing the work yourself. Anything that eats away at profit and is 100% unnecessary is a no-go for me.

Too true, don’t buy software unless it is absolutely vital. To use bulk link building software you need to be fully aware of what you are doing or it could lead to big problems. I have some software, but I find it faster and cheaper to get people to do it for me on seo clerks. I don’t use it that often, I did waste money on it, thinking back I would not purchase it if I had the choice again.

Hi Nick,

If we get 1500 signal to URL in a day. It will look like unnatural right.

Regards
Gopi

Not at all, if it can happen then it is not unnatural. It is possible for any site to get 1500 social signals in a day if the webmaster has been promoting it.

Ask yourself, could this happen?

Even for a new site it is possible. Things go viral fast, especially on social media.

It’s not unnatural, really. Like Nick said, it’s possible that your page went viral and picked up those shares naturally. At the same time – you’ll never really hurt your site/page with social links. At least not with Facebook likes, Tweets, and such.

This is impressive! I was trying to formulate my own strategy and this post gives me the ideas I need. I need your opinion. I sent you an email, please check it out. Thanks for your generosity. πŸ™‚

No problem. I will take a look at your email today.

Thank you πŸ™‚ I sent you a reply. Please check it ya.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for such a nice sharing and i opened your site more than my own expecting something new from you. When i saw something new post, i became so happy that it’s difficult for me to express my feelings here.

I have few questions. How old are those sites and how much articles those sites have and their domain and page authority because you don’t mentioned any Google sandbox effect?

Apart from this, if i am working on mini affiliate site then how much articles should a site have to rank well one or two main keywords. Thanks

Thank’s Khan, I try to post as often as possible.

Keyword 1: site was started in January 2015. Just 20 posts on there (2000) words minimum.
Keyword 2: site was started in December 2015. 18 posts on the site (2000) words at least.
Keyword 3: site was started in May 2013 and has exactly 32 posts (1000) plus words per post.
Keyword 4: site was started in November 2012. As you would expect it has quite a bit of content on there. It has 75 posts on there (1000) words plus.
Keyword 5: site was started in October 2014. Only has 6 posts on there (1000) words plus per post.

No Google sandbox, you will be okay if you build the backlinks slow and steady as I have done. All of these sites are aged, but that does not matter.

The number of articles is not too important, it’s the quality of the content and how easy it is to rank for your keyword. The number of articles you do will all depend on your chosen niche.

If you have 5 money keyword like I have, go to Yahoo.answers and take a look at what problems people have in your niche. Then answer those questions on your site doing internal backlinks to your 5 money pages. It all depends on your niche, if there are lots of questions, go ahead and answer them all, you want your site to be the ultimate one stop resource for your chosen niche. Then you will rank no. 1 for sure. I am just working on this now for the epilator site, I add another post whenever I get time.

Awesome stuff, Nick.

I can attest to these methods working. I haven’t reached the top spots for these just yet, but I’ve been working on them for about 1 1/2 months so far.

Here’s a screenshot of my rankings from SerpBook >> https://gyazo.com/f49bc3f379168e190f22bb36283c9b22

And here’s a look at the keyword difficulty scores from Keyword Revealer to give you an idea of what kind of competition this is working on >> https://gyazo.com/b6557459f3587b3c058e45a6ca6d0471

As you can see, I’ve cracked the top 10 for a few of them. Others aren’t too far from hitting page 1. And, most importantly, almost all of my keywords are on the rise.

NOTE: The one showing a 9 position drop is in the middle of a ‘dance’ right now. It’s been bouncing between #11 and #30 for a week now.

Anyway, the point is – this stuff works. Just get out there and do it. If you don’t take action you’re just wasting your time. Get started and keep it up until you have a few winners. It may take a few months but, in the end, all your hard work will pay off.

I’m certain that I’ll at least hit #3 to #5 for most of my keywords. I’m working on about 22 different keywords right now and they’re all moving up. I know that’s not feasible for a lot of people – I’ve been doing this stuff since 2009, so I’m used to having a heavy workload and I like to go big or go home.

Here’s the thing, though…

Even if I only manage to pull 15% of the traffic totals from even about 15 of my keywords… it’ll result in $3,000+ a month in extra income for me.

It’s worth every minute.

So just get out there and do it. ANYBODY can do this stuff. If you can sit down, click a few buttons, write up content, and be diligent – you can and will succeed at this. It just takes time.

You have some low competition keywords there Brad, this method will definitely work on them. It’s good to see your sites on the up, keep on going, you will hit the top spot.

It does work, too many people give up after a few weeks thinking that it is not going to work, still with the long term 3 month goal, it does work, it just takes a little time and patience.

I included the seoclerk gigs for people to use if they are working on more than 5 keywords at a time. It is a lot of work, even when you are spinning content, too much for one person anyway. These gigs work a treat if you are short on time. If you pick the right keywords the work is all worth it and will pay off big time.

Too true Brad, thanks for the words. Keep on pumping out the content, stick to your plan and you can’t fail. If you don’t hit the top spot after 3 months you are certain to be pretty close, it will just take a final PBN backlinks push to hit the top spot.

Hai Brad,
Did you used Nick referred gigs (or) you had done all the work manually ?

For roughly 1/2 of the keywords I did everything manually (i.e. scraped expired tumblrs with decent # of backlinks, wrote the content myself, built the new web 2.0 ring on my own, etc) and then the other half I used gigs for.

The only difference for me, however, is that I don’t slam my pages with the 1500 social signals gig. Instead, I use a gig that just gives you 25 shares on the top sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc). The gig is only $1 and the reason I choose to use that instead is because I believe the diversity of the links is better.

With the 1500 social signals gig you get a ton for your money, no doubt, but they all come from 3-4 sites. With the 25 shares gig that I use you only get 1 share per site, but you’re getting a link from 25 different sources. I’m a firm believer in backlink diversity, so I choose to use this instead.

I’m in no way saying the 1500 signals one is the wrong way to go – I’ve used it on several of my pages in the past. I’ve just been experimenting with different gigs on SEO Clerks / Fiverr that are similar to what Nick suggests to see how things go. I like testing things.

But, yeah, to answer your question – 1/2 of these I did all of the work manually, the other 1/2 used the gigs. The gigs do work well if you’ve got the money to toss at it. The only thing that sucks with the gigs is having less control over the content. You won’t get great content with these gigs.

Thanks for sharing Brad. The social signals tip is a good call, diversity helps. Continuous testing is the way to go with SEO. True about the content, much of it is low quality, however if it will index in Google then you are onto a winner.

Hai Nick,
Very informative & interesting post on how to rank.Once again you proved that ranking will be damn easy if you selected right keywords & execute the seo plan in right strategy.

Thanks,
Mahesh Goud

Nick,
Do you used the referred gigs (or) manually created the backlinks with three months schedule to rank those 5 posts ?

P.s: In the post mention the Keyword Revealer scores of 5 keywords.

The only gigs I used was the social signals one, everything else I did myself, just to show that it can be done for free by yourself with no spend at all. You can use the gigs to speed things up if you want to. I will pop the Keyword Revealer scores for each keyword into the post soon πŸ™‚

All Keyword Revealer SEO Competition Scores have been added to the post today.

Thanks Nick,

But are you sure that gig works as manual work ? Because in first mineth we have to add tumblr backlink with good authority & these tumblrs will have only one outbound link .But if we order gig for this there are minimum 6-8 outbound backlinks. What’s. your view on this ?

It all depends on the no. of backlinks that point to the Tumblr blogs. If the aged Tumblr only has one backlink pointing to it and 6 outbound links then it’s not going to be that useful. If the aged Tumblr has thousands of backlinks pointing to it then 6 to 8 outbound links will still be useful.

Cheers for adding the Keyword Revealer scores. I was curious about this as well. Pretty much confirms to me that my ideal range of 0-30 is exactly what I need to be aiming for.

I know KW Revealer’s scoring system isn’t perfect, but keywords with a 0-30 rating seem to be spot-on in terms of being low enough competition to rank relatively easily for.

No problem, try not to go above 25 with keyword revealer and try to go with long tail keywords if you can. It’s hard to find long tail keywords with high search volume, so you really need to have a good plan to maximise the return on your traffic. A high value product with a high commission rate works really well on long tail easy to rank keywords. You can get a good return on your investment with long tail keywords, most of the time you will rank no. 1 with very little work.

Thanks Mahesh, that’s why I always say that keyword selection is the most important step. Take your time selecting your keywords and you can’t fail with this system.

Nick,Iam already had low competition keywords. All of my keywords had keyword revealer competition under 25. What iam asking is ” Is these gigs works as manual work ? because when we order gig in first month we get backlink from high pa tumblr but they had 6-8 outbound links. So,it’s better to do this work manually right ? If we do this manually then there is only one outbound link on tumblr & it passes more link juice.

Correct, the least no. of outbound links the better. I did it all manually, this way you control the content too πŸ™‚

Wow this is EXACTLY what I needed to move forward. Nick, you are the man bro. The MAN.

Thanks, keep pumping out the content. let me know how you get on.

Wow great post Nick, thanks for the work.i will come back with questions πŸ™‚

No problem David, take action on it today and get ranking…
